Our management of Buildings and Grounds allows the Board to focus at a more strategic level relating to long-term funding, priorities, and policies.
Each community is unique with their own Rules, Regulations, and By-Laws. New Star advises the Board on best practices and we work to understand the "culture" of the community and the approach to compliance management. Often New Star supports the Board in evaluating the suitability of existing Rules and Regulations with edit revisions for subsequent approval.
New Star collaborates with condo boards with advisement on typical governance approaches some of which are stipulated by state law, others are referenced by “best practices”. New Star draws its experience from years of work with association legal counsel as well as common practices across communities. While we will not replace the role of association legal counsel on specific issues; our office will offer governance support distilled by our years of experience across dozens of communities.
